 About Movie

Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore -- and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.
Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl's parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl.

Why I am writing about it ?

  • The film received critical acclaim and went on to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
  • It was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy.
  • Bruce Willis and Edward Norton are playing supporting roles .. yaaay .... that odd !! But they fit in well in their roles.
  • Entertaining and comedy and relaxing !!!

Why it is Indeprensus ?

  • Never got such a hype in India.
  • It is just a childerns story ... what else !!!
  • It is not an action thriller movie .. that is what we expect from Hollywood.
  • Kissing and fondling scenes are there ... from child actors... may not be allowed in India !!!! ( Even grown ups don't do that here ... shame ;)
