 Who are they ??
           They are Non Government Organization (NGO) that is dedicated mostly, to supporting children on the streets of India. Children, with or without parents, no matter how old they are, funding public education for these children is one of the biggest tasks SMILE looks into. 



Active Since ??
               SMILE was founded in 2002 by an somewhat unidentified group corporate professionals who essentially decided to finance the education of Children.Their goal, to put it bluntly, is to improve the lifestyle of kids that are living on the streets.

Why I am posting this ???            

         A friend of mine mentioned me a movie "I am Kalam". I watched it and then after a little bit of search got this information. "I am Kalam" is a Smile Foundation production and is the first film ever in India to be produced by a development organization. 

              With this film Smile Foundation is trying to reach out to people around the world drawing their attention to support the movement of educating every child in India to secure a better future. This film has won many awards.

Why it is Indeprensus ??

• I was not aware about it. (Really dudes... as you are ;D)
• We never saw advertisements in facebook or youtube ads.
• Foundation is actually promoting well but is not reaching to Indian youth that much.
• Who cares about social things? Who cares about NGOs?
